38. You Have A Brain To Make Choices

In this episode of The Pick Truth Podcast, hosts Dr. Vicky Harris & LaMont Hearn Jr. read and rate some sweet, emotional, weird, and crazy confession stories. The rating ranges from Bell Pepper, Poblano, Jalapeno, Thai Chili, and Reaper. Vicky and LaMont start the conversation by reviewing their experiences for the past week.

In today’s episode, the hosts share the confession of a guy who’s very guilty of masturbating in the bathroom at his father’s funeral. He did so because one of the high school friends who came to show him support was a girl, he had a crush on. Her dressing made him so horny that he could not get her image off his mind, so he ran to the bathroom and relieved the tension. His father was a very responsible family man who taught him all life’s good morals and values.

LaMont also reads a confession of a lady who refuses to earn more than what will get him off Medicaid. She doesn’t care how things go wrong with the low income. She declined to lower the middle-class treadmill where medical emergencies can bankrupt her. At least with Medicaid, she doesn’t have to worry about a single bill when in the hospital. How would you rate these truths?

In this week’s Truth in The News, we talk about the creator of a ‘suicide pod’ who wants to make a body implant that would kill you if you forget to deactivate it. Dr. Philip Nitschke said such a device could allow people with dementia or Alzheimer’s disease to seal their death years in advance while still of sound mind. Find out more about them in the episode!
